Tom Bosanko is a serial technology entrepreneur, accomplished executive, and recognized innovator in the unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and advanced air mobility (AAM) ecosystem. With more than four decades of leadership across software, remote sensing, defense, and aviation technology, Tom has built and transformed multiple high-growth companies—guiding them from early-stage concepts to scaled, revenue-generating enterprises.
As CEO of SkyIntelli, Tom brings together his deep experience in geospatial intelligence, drone operations, photogrammetry, and mission-critical software development to deliver next-generation drone-in-a-box systems, detect-and-avoid technologies, and turnkey aerial intelligence solutions for public safety, utilities, energy, and defense customers.
Previously, Tom served as CEO of Icaros, Inc., President of DataFocus, President of the Interoperability Division at MKS (acquired by PTC), and CEO of Convergent Solutions, where he led the company from startup through NASDAQ IPO. Throughout his career he has executed major strategic partnerships, overseen multi-million-dollar programs, and guided teams delivering cutting-edge technologies to customers in government, defense, and enterprise sectors.
A lifelong builder of companies and teams, Tom is known for his strategic vision, hands-on leadership style, and the ability to transform complex technologies into practical, scalable solutions that solve real-world operational challenges.
He lives in Northern Virginia with his family and continues to advise early-stage innovators, mentor founders, and contribute to the region's growing aviation and aerospace ecosystem.
